Remodeled Basement Bathroom

Well... I can't believe I'm saying this, but we've undertaken another remodeling project on our home. ;-) I guess the kitchen just wasn't enough for one year....

NOT! Anyhow, it's a long story, but it all started with removing this dry bar from the basement so we could use this area to store our exercise equipment.

Only problem was, removing the bar messed up the lovely old peel and stick linoleum underneath the bar. So, we bought some floating linoleum to put over top of all the old linoleum in the finished basement. The first project was to replace the old linoleum so we could put the weights there.

Here is Phase 1 finished:

And... since we had to take out the toilet and vanity to put the floor down in the bathroom, we figured it was the opportune time to put in a new WHITE toilet (that you didn't have to sit with your knees in your chest to use) and a new vanity.

So, here's the before of the bathroom:

And the after...

Phase 3 and 4 are yet to come... replacing the floor in the foyer and the pantry.

looks good. remodeling gets addicting. Once you've done one thing, it's easy to think of all the other things. And since most everything else is smaller than the kitchen...it's seems to be no big deal right? Fun Fun!
