The Day after Christmas we headed down to Massanutten to visit with Scott's family for a couple days. If you recall an unexpected sleet/snow storm arrived that morning. Unfortunately we ended up driving in that almost the entire way to Massanutten. An easy three hour drive from I-70 to I-81 turned into a harrowing 7 hour trip! We are very thankful that we made it there safely as we saw many others on the side of the road who were not so fortunate.
We stayed in a lovely A frame house on the mountain and just down the road from where Scott's brother Nathan and his family were staying. It was great to visit with family and to have Hayden interact with his cousins and Aunts and Uncles. We also enjoyed a visit to Shenandoah Caverns which was really neat!
