Pop Pop's Gift

Pop Pop's gift for Hayden arrived via the Eastern Shore Camping Trip this past week. (See Scott's You Tube Video for more info on the sinking boat adventure or read about it on the duck hunting chat).

Anyhow... Pop Pop (that's my Dad) made a changing table topper to go on the desk in the nursery. The neat thing is he kept the wood that he found in his Pop's attic when they sold the house he grew up in about 10 years ago. My G-Maw and Paw Paw built their house in Studley when Dad was in Elementary School so that wood has been around for quite some time.

So, Hayden's changing table was not only hand made by his Pop Pop, but it's made of the same wood that his great Paw-Paw used to build his home back in the 60's. Pretty neat!
