We spent Thanksgiving with Scott's Dad and his wife, Cynthia, in Swansboro N.C. We had fun cooking with them and enjoyed all of the delicious food and wonderful company for Thanksgiving. Their new home is just Beautiful and we felt right at home there. :-)
Sadly, this morning, I found out that my dear cousin Kristy passed away around midnight. She had a Bone Marrow Transplant about 4 weeks ago and unfortunately the cells did not engrapht. She developed pneumonia along with a couple other infections last weekend and apparently succumbed to them last night.
Scott and I will remain in Richmond through Monday. The viewing will be at Bennet's Funeral Home on Lee-Davis Rd on Sunday from 5-8pm and the funeral will be held at Bennet's on Monday at 2pm.
Thank you all for the love and concern you've shown since Kristy's diagnosis. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.
Please check Kristy's blog which the family will keep updated regarding any other arrangements or information. http://kristysite1.blogspot.com/
