Yesterday, after Hayden had his lunch (a quite hefty one I might add) , I opened up a container of blueberry greek yogurt. I got out my spoon while Hayden was playing in the kitchen floor when suddenly he started fussing like he wanted me to hold him. Hmm...okay I thought. Let's go downstairs and play so he can have fun with his toys while I eat my yogurt. So, I pick him up and take him take him down to basement. I sit on the couch with my yogurt in hand and he stands holding onto the Ottoman in front the couch. He proceeds to look at me, fuss and bang his head into the Ottoman as if I have taken his best friend in the whole world from him. Then he peaks up from his sorrow and takes a long glance at my yogurt container, then at me, and proceeds to take a step closer to the couch. Finally, it dawns on me...he wants my yogurt! So, he inches even closer and opens up his mouth. I give him a bite and he says "ummmm" (his sound for Yum). And together we share my blueberry yogurt bite by bite, "umming" over the lovely smooth texture, with a indulgent bit of blueberry mixed in there every now and then.
So, Hayden and I bonded over greek yogurt yesterday. A boy after my own appetite for all things wholesome and yummy. J
(Secretly I wonder, will I ever be able to enjoy a full container of yogurt by myself again?)

Hi Tiffy and Hayden,
There will come a day when he will say, "Taste this. Come on taste this." You say, "No Hayden you eat it. It's yours." He says, "but it's sooooo good. Please taste it." You say "Ok oh that is sooooo good". Enjoy. Eric still does that to me.
Haha, Zachary always expects some of my yogurt. Even if I have it while he's eating his own he wants some of mine :)
